HPR Finanzen: Personal Branding in the Selfkant

Trust starts with personality.

At a glance

For financial adviser Hans-Peter Ramächers, I created a personal branding series that combines expertise with approachability, moving beyond conventional adviser photographs. The wide range of images works across his website, LinkedIn and social media.

The brief

Financial advice and insurance involve subjects that many people find complex and deeply personal. That makes it all the more important to see a person you can trust behind the expertise.

For over 30 years, Hans-Peter Ramächers and HPR Finanzen have provided personal, independent advice on insurance, investments and property finance. Making complex financial subjects understandable and supporting each client individually are central to his positioning.

The new imagery called for authentic personal branding photographs that would show Hans-Peter's personality and work professionally across his website, LinkedIn and social media, beyond conventional financial adviser portraits.

My approach

Starting with his positioning, we developed imagery combining expertise with personality and approachability.

We created a variety of portrait situations and subjects, both in and beyond the office, to show Hans-Peter in a more contemporary, personal way. Different compositions, situations and expressions gave us a wide selection that could work flexibly across his website, LinkedIn and social media, as well as for profile pictures.

It mattered to me that the photographs felt true to the person his clients would meet, without looking like a role performed for the camera.

The resulting personal branding series gives HPR Finanzen a more personal face while conveying trust, experience and approachability.
