When the day arrives, I step back for the real moments. I observe, think ahead and photograph what happens, without constantly intervening.
When we take your portraits, I'll offer a little guidance. But don't worry: you won't need to memorise poses. Together, we'll create a relaxed atmosphere and photographs that feel like you.

Civil ceremony coverage focuses on two hours around your ceremony. Full-day coverage tells the story of several parts of your day, including encounters and little moments in between. More coverage means a fuller photographic story. The same care goes into selection and editing for both options.
Frequently asked questions about wedding photography
Will we meet before the wedding?
Yes. For full wedding coverage, I'd like to meet you in person beforehand. I'll spend many hours beside you on one of the most personal days of your lives, so you should know who is there with the camera.
Do you stage scenes for the photographs?
Throughout the day, I stay in the background as much as possible and document moments authentically, without recreating them. During couple portraits, I'm happy to offer guidance and small suggestions to help create natural, relaxed photographs. Nobody needs to know how to pose.
How much experience do you have as a wedding photographer?
More than 15 years. I've experienced many wedding days and know that things don't always go exactly to plan. I bring that experience into the planning from the start.
Will you help us plan the day too?
Yes. I'm happy to plan with you before the wedding and share recommendations from experience. On the day itself, I'm also there to answer your questions.
How long do you cover weddings for?
These prices apply to bookings from 1 January 2027. For smaller weddings or a civil ceremony, I offer 2 hours of coverage for €800 including VAT. That allows time for the ceremony, congratulations and photographs with your loved ones. Full-day wedding coverage costs €2,800 and deliberately has no fixed number of hours. I want to tell your wedding day as a continuous story, from getting ready and the ceremony to the celebration and special moments in the evening. We'll agree the exact duration together.
When will we receive our wedding photographs?
I know how much you'll be looking forward to reliving the best moments of your wedding. If you'd like, you can receive a small preview selection just a few days afterwards. You'll usually receive your full wedding collection within 4 to 6 weeks. I carefully select and professionally edit every image, then deliver the photographs in a personal online gallery where you can download your memories and share them with family and friends.
Do you photograph weddings outside Aachen and Heinsberg?
Of course! I'm based in Gangelt in the Heinsberg district, but I'm happy to travel for lovely stories and special people. I cover weddings throughout North Rhine-Westphalia, including Aachen, Mönchengladbach, Düsseldorf, Cologne and the Eifel. Weddings elsewhere in Germany or abroad are possible too. Just tell me where you're getting married and what you have planned, and we'll work out how I can be there for your special day.
