The brief
The Global Leader Roundtable brought international executives, business owners and professionals together at KÖ59 in Düsseldorf. The focus was on leadership, innovation, international careers and the future of work, with a keynote, panel discussion and deliberately personal networking sessions. Attendance was limited to 30 people to allow meaningful exchange and direct conversations.
My brief was to photograph the evening and create a series that would convey its distinctive mix of a professional setting, international exchange and personal connection, beyond speakers and programme sessions alone.
My approach
I observed the evening as it unfolded, moving regularly between stage and audience. Alongside the keynote and panel, people were central: reactions, conversations, new contacts and the dynamics of the moderated roundtables.
I wanted to capture how the evening felt as well as what happened. At an event built around exchange and networking, the key photographs often emerge away from the official programme.
The resulting documentary series presents the Global Leader Roundtable as a polished, international yet personal format, giving the organiser authentic imagery for communications and future events.
